My name is Debi Allen, I was born in Pine Ridge South Dakota and I am of Native American decent.  I am an Artist, Professional Photographer, and a Teacher.

     Having been in the Art field for many years, I have focused much of my time on photography.  I use photography to help document and remind us of all the beauty that is in our world.  To see and feel Mother Earth, to capture her in all her beauty.  The same goes for taking portraits of people of all ages.  I believe everyone and everything has a story to tell.  I want to capture images in their purest form possible.  I want everyone and everything to tell their own story, untouched and beautiful.

     I am a natural light and studio photographer based out of  Rapid City, South Dakota.  I have loved photography since I was a teenager growing up in the Nebraska Sandhills.  After high school I went collage and received a BA in Fine Arts and later a Teaching Certificate.  This led to my working under the guidance of Mr. Gary McMeekin, one of Nebraska's finest professional photographers.  This gave me the opportunity to work on location and in studio, honing in on my skills during my 20s.

     Once I moved from Nebraska, I worked as a graphic designer and then moved on to teach photography and graphic designing at the high school level. 

     I have recently rebranded my art company "Unique Touches" to what is now "Camera Art Creations" LLC Studio.  I specialize in Family Portraits, Senior, Tween and Children sessions.  Maternity, Headshots, Special Occasions such as Family Reunions and Smash Cake mini sessions.  I also create and sell Freelance photos and array of different hand crafted novelty pieces.
